The car boot sale of the Comité des Fêtes de Gien was held on Ascension Thursday 2025 in Place de la Victoire. Around 150 exhibitors took over the square's aisles from dawn, offering clothes, crockery, books, and all sorts of items to the many visitors welcomed for free throughout the day. A friendly event organized with the support of the City of Gien.

Looking back at the 2025 Ascension car boot sale
On Ascension Thursday 2025, Place de la Victoire in Gien hosted the traditional car boot sale organized by the Comité des Fêtes. From 5:30 am, exhibitors set up their stalls in the vast square, offering a good variety of second-hand items, clothes, books, crockery, and trinkets.
With around 150 stalls, the event attracted many visitors who came to enjoy a long day of bargain hunting in the heart of Gien. The setting of Place de la Victoire, between the château and the Loire, provided an ideal backdrop for this spring event.
The Comité des Fêtes renews the appointment for Ascension 2026 and invites residents and tourists to mark the date in their calendars.
