Every September, the Foyer Rural de Caupenne-d'Armagnac organizes a large-scale car boot sale in the heart of the village. It marks the end of the summer flea market season and offers a last opportunity to hunt for treasures outdoors before autumn.
The 70 exhibitors, mostly individuals, take over the village streets and squares to offer an abundant and varied selection. Clothing, shoes, toys, board games, books, crockery, trinkets, furniture, tools, vinyl records, decorative objects, and a thousand treasures from attics make up a complete panorama of finds. The fee of 1.50 euros per linear meter, among the lowest in the region, encourages massive participation from exhibitors.
