Bargain hunting near the Dol marshland

The car boot sale of Baguer-Pican is a popular summer event for bargain hunters from the Dol region. Located at the place called La Mancellière, just 3 km from Dol-de-Bretagne, it offers a wide selection of second-hand items outdoors: clothing, toys, trinkets, tableware, books, tools, and various flea market items. The atmosphere is that of an authentic Breton country car boot sale, where people take their time to rummage and negotiate.

Baguer-Pican, between marshland and hedgerows

Baguer-Pican is a rural commune of about 1,900 inhabitants located north of Ille-et-Vilaine, on the edge of the vast Dol marshland. This polder, reclaimed from the sea over the centuries, forms a unique landscape in Brittany with its flat meadows and drainage canals. The commune offers a peaceful and authentic living environment, between hedgerows and marshland, just a few kilometers from the Mont-Saint-Michel bay.
