The Audeux car boot sale: 52 exhibitors for a day of treasure hunting in Franche-Comté

Audeux is a village of 444 inhabitants located in the agricultural plain of the Doubs, about twenty kilometers northwest of Besançon. It is the Association des Parents d'Élèves (APE) les 3 Villages that organizes every year a popular car boot sale, bringing together about 52 private exhibitors on rue de la Mairie. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event offers a varied selection: furniture, tableware, clothing, toys, and books.

The setup of this event is particularly well thought out: exhibitors can set up from 6 a.m. to prepare their stalls, vehicles are not allowed on site (parking nearby), and a fast-food area is run by association volunteers. Coffee is offered to each exhibitor upon arrival, a small appreciated gesture that sets the friendly tone for the day.
