An Ascension Day flea market

On Thursday 14 May 2026, Ascension Day, Courthézon's public-school parents' association holds its annual flea market at the Sporting Club. May long weekends are Provence's busy flea-market season — families enjoy the fine weather and holiday, while school associations run their flagship fundraisers.

APE funds help cover school trips, outdoor learning, teaching materials and year-end celebrations. The flea market gathers parents, teachers, kids and volunteers while offering a popular community rendezvous.

The Sporting Club venue
