About Albi Flea Market

Every Saturday morning, Place du Foirail du Castelviel turns into a bargain hunter's paradise in Albi. Beneath the Castelviel hall, professional dealers and amateurs display antiques, vintage items, old china and curiosities in an exceptional heritage setting, facing the historic district listed as UNESCO World Heritage.

A Saturday morning Albi institution

The Flea Market of Albi is a long-standing weekly ritual animating Place du Foirail du Castelviel every Saturday morning, just steps from Sainte-Cécile Cathedral and the Berbie Palace. Held under the metal hall and spilling onto the square, it brings together around forty mostly professional dealers, many of them longtime regulars.

What you will find

The range is remarkably varied: old furniture from the Tarn region, regional earthenware and porcelain, antique jewellery, lighting, old papers, Albigensian postcards, vinyl records, peasant tools, embroidered household linen, paintings and small antiques. Collectors regularly unearth pieces linked to local heritage, including items from old pharmacies, Giroussens earthenware and pastel-trade artefacts.

A village atmosphere

The Castelviel feels like a neighbourhood market: regulars meet, chat with the dealers, enjoy the first rays of sun on the square. Its proximity to Albi's historic centre makes it a natural stop on a Saturday stroll, easily extended with a visit to the Toulouse-Lautrec museum or a walk along the Tarn river.

Special highlights

Beyond the weekly Saturdays, the hall also hosts the Brocante Albigeoise on the first Saturday of September, a Collectors' Fair in late April, and a flea market organised by the Destination Hockey association at the 5 Vallées campsite in Pratgraussals.

Why visit?

Because it is one of the oldest flea markets in the Tarn, the setting is exceptional, and real finds are still to be made at fair prices.

Albi Flea Market — edition 2026
