About Vide-grenier Thyez
The Independent Parents' Association (AIPE) of Thyez organises its grand car boot sale on 14 April 2026 in the courtyard of the Charmilles school. With 300 sellers expected, this event is one of the most popular in the Arve valley. From 7am to 5pm, bargain hunters browse the aisles looking for clothes, toys, books and everyday items at low prices. Proceeds go to school projects for Thyez children.
The grand Thyez car boot sale
The AIPE Thyez car boot sale is a major event in the spring calendar of the Arve valley. Organised by the Independent Parents' Association, this annual gathering brings together 300 sellers in and around the Charmilles school.
300 sellers for an immense choice
The scale of this car boot sale makes it one of the largest in the area. The 300 stalls offer a wide range of items: clothing, toys and games, books and comics, nursery items, tableware and decorations, small appliances, sports equipment and vintage items.
A charity event supporting schools
All proceeds from pitch fees go directly to educational projects at Thyez schools.
Generous hours for early birds
Open from 7am, the sale delights early risers who know the best finds are made at dawn. Until 5pm, visitors have ten hours to browse and bargain.
