On Monday, July 14th, 2025, the village of Fanlac hosted its traditional national holiday car boot sale. In this Périgord Noir village, in the land of Jacquou le Croquant, stalls were set up around the village hall and in the village streets, offering a wide selection of second-hand items to visitors.
Crockery, trinkets, clothes, tools, toys, books, and small furniture filled the stalls throughout the day. The wooded hills of oaks and chestnut trees surrounding the village provided a bucolic backdrop for this day of treasure hunting and popular celebration, between Montignac-Lascaux and Les Eyzies.
