Luçon children's clothing fair

Luçon, south Vendée subprefecture, regularly hosts children's clothing and baby-gear fairs run by Les Z'Occas des Fripouilles. The autumn/winter edition, Saturday 19 September 2026, is solidarity-driven and eco-responsible: offering families cheap second-hand kids' clothes and baby gear through an organised circuit.

Standard deposit/sale/return format: families deposit good-condition items beforehand, items are labelled and sorted, sold on the day. Unsold items returned; sold items reimbursed (minus association commission).

What to find

• 0-16 kids' clothes (baby, child, teen)
• Autumn/winter: jumpers, coats, puffers, boots
• Baby gear: bottle warmer, steriliser, car seat, pushchair, carrier
• Kids' room: travel cots, changing tables, bouncers
• Books and toys sometimes
• Accessories: hats, scarves, socks, slippers

Solidarity + eco-responsibility

Families can buy smart (new kids' clothes are expensive and quickly outgrown) and sell items their growing children no longer wear. Les Z'Occas des Fripouilles has run this second-hand circuit for years.

How to take part

Deposits via HelloAsso 1 month to 1 week before. Drop-off the day before, sale day, unsold returns the day after. Association commission on sales.

Luçon, south-Vendée episcopal city

One of Vendée's subprefectures and historic bishopric seat. Dominated by its listed Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral (neo-Gothic spire). Richelieu was bishop here in the 17th century. A dynamic trading town, urban centre for south Vendée and the Plaine vendéenne.

Les Z'Occas runs several bourses a year in Luçon: spring/summer kids (March), autumn/winter kids (September), adult/teen clothes (October), toys/baby gear (November). A structured annual circuit covering family needs.
