Île-de-France's largest charity flea market since 1964
Every year since 1964, the ODER (Regional Mutual Aid Operation) organises in Montmorency the largest charity brocante in Île-de-France, mobilising 500 volunteers from 80 communes. In 2026, the 62nd edition runs on 14, 16 and 17 May, with over 5,000 m² of stalls and 10,000 expected visitors, raising funds for local charities.
Since 1964, the Opération d'Entraide Régionale (ODER) has brought together hundreds of volunteers from the Montmorency valley every Ascension weekend around a common goal: organising Île-de-France's largest charity flea market to benefit local associations helping elderly, disabled and struggling people. In 2026, ODER celebrates its 62nd edition, testament to remarkable associative vitality.
Organising ODER is a true logistical challenge met with aplomb every year. More than 500 volunteers from over 80 communes participate: collecting donations, sorting items, setting up stalls, selling and redistributing proceeds. Object donations take place from 3 to 9 May 2026 (2–6 PM) at 12 bis, avenue Victor Hugo in Montmorency, ahead of the main sales days.
Over more than 5,000 square metres, visitors discover around twenty themed stands organised by category: books, crockery, clothing, toys, tools, furniture, art objects, appliances, and much more. More than 10,000 visitors come to the site each year over the three days of sales.
All proceeds from ODER are redistributed as grants to local associations in the Montmorency valley, which help elderly people, people with disabilities, and families in difficulty. ODER is thus far more than a brocante: it has been a pillar of local solidarity for more than half a century.
The 62nd edition of ODER will be held on Thursday 14, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May 2026 at 12 bis avenue Victor Hugo in Montmorency. Object donations are accepted from 3 to 9 May 2026. Over 500 volunteers mobilised, 5,000 m² of exhibition space, free entry.
