Le Pradet's monthly bargain-hunting rendezvous
The first monthly event of 2026, Le Pradet's flea market sets up at Place de l'Office du Tourisme and avenue 1ère DFL around Place Paul Flamenq. Run by the municipal police, this recurring monthly format draws hunters and families between the Villa Tamaris and the Oursinières calanques.
Le Pradet is a seaside town on the Hyères peninsula between Toulon and Carqueiranne, famed for its Oursinières calanques and preserved southern setting. For several years, the town has run a much-loved monthly event: a Sunday flea market held almost every month from February to November at Place de l'Office du Tourisme and avenue 1ère DFL, by Place Paul Flamenq. February opens the season and remains one of the quieter editions, prized by savvy hunters.
Vendors are strictly private sellers from Le Pradet and the Toulon area, selected by town hall registration. Household bric-a-brac, crockery, linen, books, vinyl, toys, clothing, baby gear, small furniture and decor. Winter and early spring suit quieter bargain hunting.
The town, via its municipal police, handles registrations, placement, safety and cleanliness. Pitch costs €10, paid at town hall registration with ID and proof of residence, at least 15 days before the event. Registration Monday-Friday 8:30am-noon. Contact: +33 4 94 21 32 16.
The event is open-air on a compact area. Nearby shops, cafés and public parking make the experience easy. In bad weather the sale is cancelled and not rescheduled.
The February edition stands apart: fewer visitors, calmer atmosphere, still cool temperatures. Hunters who brave winter often find great deals, and vendors enjoy a gentle start before spring's rise.
15 February 2026 edition held at Place de l'Office du Tourisme and avenue 1ère DFL, Le Pradet, 8am-1pm. First event of the 2026 monthly cycle, it quietly opened the town's brocante season. Around thirty private sellers and steady footfall all morning.
On Sunday 15 February 2026, Le Pradet's monthly flea market opened its annual cycle. At Place de l'Office du Tourisme, local sellers set up by 8am and the municipal police ensured smooth placement.
Despite a chilly morning, the atmosphere was pleasant and area hunters appreciated this first bargain-hunting chance of the year. Next date: 29 March 2026.
