On 28 June 2026, the village hall of Massongy, at 49 chemin de Brue, hosts La Farfouille, a popular car boot sale and flea market. From 8 am to 5 pm, private sellers unpack their treasures for bargain hunters from across the region.
Massongy, a quiet Bas-Chablais village
Massongy is a small rural commune in Bas-Chablais, nestled in the rolling countryside between Douvaine and Sciez, just a few kilometres from Lake Geneva.
Rummaging at low prices
As its name suggests, La Farfouille invites visitors to rummage and discover unsuspected treasures. You'll find everything: clothing, toys, books, CDs and vinyl, tableware, small furniture, tools, and household linen.
An early summer gathering
Held in late June, La Farfouille marks the start of the summer season in Bas-Chablais. The village hall provides welcome covered space in case of bad weather.
