The grand summer flea market by the Coquelicots, along the Seine in the French Vexin
Each late June, the Coquelicots de la Vallée de Seine association transforms Vétheuil into a charming market along the Seine. La Belle Brocante brings together professional and private sellers in this village painted by Monet, offering antiques and curios in an impressionist setting. Free admission, guaranteed rural atmosphere.
Vétheuil, a small commune nestled in a bend of the Seine in the heart of the French Vexin, was immortalised by Claude Monet. It is in this exceptional setting, steeped in history and light, that the Coquelicots de la Vallée de Seine association organises its summer brocante every year. The event has become an unmissable date in the Val-d'Oise flea market calendar.
Vendors set up along the riverbanks and in the narrow streets of the old village, creating a treasure-hunting stroll like no other. Between the stone houses, flowering gardens and reflections of the Seine, visitors browse stalls filled with antique furniture, trinkets, paintings, books and curiosities.
The association Les Coquelicots de la Vallée de Seine, based in Vétheuil, works to animate and promote this exceptional village. La Belle Brocante is its flagship event, organised with care for several years. Free admission for visitors.
