The Kochersberg Lions Club Indoor Flea Market is one of the major winter events for bargain hunters in Bas-Rhin. Organized at the Espace Terminus in Truchtersheim, this flea market stands out for its entirely charitable dimension: every euro collected is entirely donated to the social works of Lions Club International, mainly for local actions in the Kochersberg. The Lions Club thus applies the iconic 'We Serve' motto dear to Melvin Jones, founder of the movement in 1917.

85 exhibitors and great diversity

The 2026 edition welcomes around 85 exhibitors spread over 1.80 meter tables. Bargain hunters find a wide variety of items: old dishes, glassware, trinkets, frames and paintings, second-hand clothes, household linen, books, vinyl records, vintage toys, porcelain figurines, small furniture, decorative items and curiosities of all kinds. Exhibitor setup takes place between 6:30am and 8am, and the public opening runs from 8am to 6pm. A buffet with hot drinks and light refreshments is offered throughout the day to warm visitors during this winter period.

Truchtersheim, capital of the Kochersberg

Truchtersheim, a commune of around 4,500 inhabitants, is the historic capital of the Kochersberg, a traditional agricultural region located 15 kilometers northwest of Strasbourg. Known as 'the breadbasket of Strasbourg', this region of fertile rolling hills is famous for its traditional costumes, half-timbered farms and culinary specialties. The new commune of Truchtersheim, created in 2016 through the merger with Behlenheim and Pfettisheim, regularly hosts cultural and charitable events like these Lions Club Flea Market that bring the Espace Terminus to life in the heart of the Alsatian winter.
