Kirb (patron saint festival) and flea market in Roppenheim, a village famous for its outlet center
The Roppenheim Kirb and flea market takes place over two days in this village in northern Alsace, which has become famous for its The Style Outlets brand center. The Kirb (or Kilbe), the traditional Alsatian patron saint festival, is an opportunity to bring together villagers and visitors around fairground rides, gastronomy and flea market. The flea market completes the festivities with stands of furniture, crockery and antique items.
The Kirb (or Kilbe) is the traditional patron saint festival in Alsace, equivalent to the Messti in southern Bas-Rhin. In Roppenheim, a border village with Germany in the Outre-Forêt region, the Kirb is a major event that takes place over two days with fairground rides, music, gastronomy and flea market.
Roppenheim is best known for its The Style Outlets brand center, but the village retains a strong rural identity. The Kirb flea market is proof: visitors browse Alsatian furniture, crockery, ornaments and collectibles in the streets of the historic village, just steps from the shopping center.
The Roppenheim Kirb and flea market takes place on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026. Free entry.
