Aizenay is a dynamic commune of about 9,000 inhabitants in central Vendée, halfway between La Roche-sur-Yon (prefecture) and Challans. The Champ de Foire, emblematic venue

The Champ de Foire is a traditional space in French rural communes, legacy of 19th-20th century cattle and farm fairs. In Aizenay it now hosts village events including this flea market perpetuating the tradition of large popular gatherings.
