Aizenay flea market, a popular event

Aizenay is a town of about 9,000 inhabitants in central Vendée, between La Roche-sur-Yon and the coast. The Amicale du Champ de Foire runs an annual May flea market that has become a staple of the Vendée spring calendar.

The 2026 edition is Sunday 24 May 2026, 9am to 5:30pm, on Place du Champ de Foire downtown. Maximum 110 exhibitors, 3m x 3m pitches at €10, private sellers only — guaranteeing attractive prices and authentic items.

Place du Champ de Foire has everything needed: shaded space, bar and food on site, children's play area, public toilets.

Beyond the flea market, visit Saint-Benoît church, Gué Chatenay pond (fishing, walking, picnic), lively shops. 20 min from La Roche-sur-Yon, 30 min from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, 40 min from Puy du Fou.
