Bargain hunting under the pines of Janas forest, La Seyne-sur-Mer
The Janas state forest, a vast pine grove between La Seyne-sur-Mer and Fort Peyras, is one of the coastal Var's green lungs. Several times a year, along Route de Janas, a flea market sets up under the pines, using the natural shade and wide open space.
It's a rare format: unlike urban brocantes in downtown Toulon, you come here for the day with the family. The atmosphere is relaxed, almost rural, though you're only minutes from the beaches of La Seyne and Six-Fours.
Each edition welcomes 100 to 200 private sellers and occasional resellers. Expect a wide range: furniture, china, clothes, toys, books, comics, vinyls, popular brocante items, tools. Pitch is €15 for a 9-10 m² space, sellers arriving from 6:30am.
On-site catering is a highlight: sandwiches, grilled meats, drinks, ice cream. You can easily spend the day without packing a picnic. Extend with a forest walk to Fort Peyras or the nearby beaches.
Several editions planned, including 12 April 2026 and 10 May 2026, 8am to 3pm.
