Car boot sale and flea market organized by Hérépian Animations on Place Étienne Pascal
The Hérépian Animations car boot sale brings together about eighty exhibitors each year on Place Étienne Pascal, in the heart of the village. Individuals and second-hand dealers offer used clothing, toys, tableware, and furniture in a village and family atmosphere, a stone's throw from the Bell and Clapper Museum.
Organized by the association Hérépian Animations, this car boot sale takes over Place Étienne Pascal and its surroundings for a day of open-air treasure hunting. From 8 a.m., around 80 exhibitors set up their stalls: clothing, trinkets, toys, tableware, tools, books, and small furniture attract bargain hunters from the Orb valley and the Biterrois region. The relaxed atmosphere and the shaded setting of the square make strolling particularly pleasant.
A village of 1,500 souls nestled between Bédarieux and Lamalou-les-Bains, Hérépian (34600) is the gateway to the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. The commune houses the remarkable Musée de la Cloche et de la Sonnaille (Bell and Clapper Museum), unique in Europe, and is a stop on the Voie Verte Passa Païs cycle route. Its century-old plane trees, fountains, and paved streets offer a charming setting for a flea market day.
A refreshment stand and a fast-food stall are set up on the square, allowing visitors to eat between finds. Stall space costs €5 for 3 meters. Entry is free for visitors. Reservations recommended with the association.
The Hérépian Animations car boot sale returns on May 24, 2026, on Place Étienne Pascal. 80 exhibitors, refreshment stand, and catering. Free entry.
