Spring flea market under the centenarian oaks
Grands Chênes Park is one of the iconic green spaces of La Génétouze, a rural commune of about 2,000 inhabitants northwest of La Roche-sur-Yon. The park takes its name from the hundred-year-old oaks that dominate it and provide precious shade on fine June days. 2026 edition: Sunday 14 June 2026, outdoor in this remarkable setting.
The tree-covered setting gives the market a giant-picnic feel much loved by families. Visitors wander in the shade between stalls, chat with sellers, enjoy the natural setting. This country mood contrasts pleasantly with denser urban markets.
