Annual large flea market in June on the Place de l'Église in Nercillac, organized by the "Comité des fêtes"
Every first Sunday in June, the Place de l'Église in Nercillac transforms into a vast open-air flea market. Organized by the "Comité des fêtes de Nercillac", this flea market has become an eagerly awaited event for treasure hunters in the Cognac region. Exhibitors, both private individuals and professionals, offer furniture, tableware, trinkets, tools, books, and various items.
Nercillac is a rural commune in the canton of Cognac, nestled in the rolling landscape of the Fins Bois vineyards. Surrounded by vines that produce the world's most renowned brandies, this small village of a few hundred inhabitants retains an authentic charm with its Romanesque church and limestone houses typical of the Charente region.
The Place de l'Église offers an ideal setting for this village flea market. Stands are set up from 6 in the morning, and visitors can browse until 5 pm. The pitch, at 2 euros per linear meter, is available by booking recommended with the "Comité des fêtes". Refreshments and food on site complete the offer for a pleasant day in the open air.
The "Comité des fêtes de Nercillac" is particularly active and organizes unifying events throughout the year: village meals, activities for children, and of course this large June flea market that brings together residents and visitors in a warm and rural atmosphere.
