Every year in February, the Salle Léo Lagrange in Châteaudun transforms into a large clothing street sale for the benefit of ASPAD, the animal shelter of the Société Protectrice des Animaux dunoise. This charity event is highly anticipated by the residents of Châteaudun and the Dunois region, who are keen to do something for abandoned animals while finding good deals.

A solidarity sale for animals

ASPAD is the local association that manages the Châteaudun animal shelter. To finance its activities, the necessary renovations for shelter maintenance, and veterinary care for the animals housed there, it regularly organizes fundraising events. The Grande Braderie de Vêtements is the most important one. Thousands of second-hand clothes, sorted and presented, are offered at very accessible prices: everyone can find something they like and support a good cause at the same time.

The sale runs from 9 am to 6 pm, offering visitors a full day to browse the stalls. Clothes for women, men, children, and babies, in all sizes and styles, are available. ASPAD, guardian of the Dunois shelter

ASPAD manages the Châteaudun SPA shelter, which houses dogs, cats, and other animals awaiting adoption. Its volunteers take care of the residents daily and work to find loving families for each of them. The proceeds from the sale help finance renovations, equipment, and care, ensuring better living conditions for the animals.
