Each year in August, Ajaccio lives to the rhythm of its Grande Braderie du Centre-ville, one of the most anticipated commercial and popular events of the Corsican summer. For 4 days — from Wednesday to Saturday — shops and businesses in the city center open their doors and sidewalks wide to offer exceptional discounts ranging from -50% to -70% on their collections.

200 merchants mobilized

With nearly 200 merchants participating, the Grande Braderie transforms the heart of Ajaccio into a huge open-air market. Fashion, shoe, leather goods, jewelry, lingerie, decoration, and many other sectors unite to offer Ajaccio residents and tourists an exceptional shopping opportunity at bargain prices. Shops are generally open from 9:30 AM to 7 PM, and until midnight on Friday evening during the traditional night shopping with music.

An event co-organized by the city's economic players

The Grande Braderie is jointly organized by the Federation of Merchant Associations of the city center of Ajaccio, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Corsica, and the City of Ajaccio.
