Each year in May, the Comité des Fêtes du Rheu organizes its grand street sale, flea market, and car boot sale in the village streets. Private and professional exhibitors take over Rue de l'Orme Robin and the adjacent streets from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to offer a wide selection of second-hand items: clothing, furniture, toys, books, dishes, tools, and bric-a-brac. The event is one of the most important in the western part of the Rennes metropolitan area and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
