Organised by the Heureux comme le 5 association, the monthly Rue Saint-Jacques car boot sale livens up the Val-de-Grâce district every 4th Saturday of the month from April to November 2026. Set on Place Alphonse Laveran and along Rue Saint-Jacques, this event reserves pitches exclusively for residents of the 5th arrondissement. A 100% neighbourhood atmosphere from 8am to 6.30pm.
A 100% local car boot sale
The Heureux comme le 5 association organises each month its now-iconic car boot sale on Rue Saint-Jacques, on Place Alphonse Laveran and along the historic axis leading to the Val-de-Grâce. In 2026, the dates are 25 April, 23 May, 27 June, 25 July, 22 August, 26 September, 24 October and 28 November, every 4th Saturday from 8am to 6.30pm.
An engaged local association
Pitches are reserved exclusively for 5th arrondissement residents, ensuring a genuine neighbourhood atmosphere. No professionals, no intermediaries.
A generous and varied selection
Stalls offer adult and children's clothing, toys, books, tableware, small household appliances, decorative objects, vinyls, local artists' works and small furniture. Tables are mandatory.
A meeting in the Val-de-Grâce district
Rue Saint-Jacques is one of the oldest streets in Paris. The car boot sale takes place in its upper section, overlooked by the majestic dome of the Val-de-Grâce.
