Every summer, the small village of Chabestan transforms into a large open-air flea market. The Club des Loisirs organizes a car boot sale that takes over the town hall square and the village streets, creating a picturesque treasure hunt route in the heart of this mountain commune in the Buëch region.

Perched at over 800 meters altitude on the foothills of the Montagne de Ceüse, Chabestan is a typical village in the Hautes-Alpes, with its stone houses, tiled roofs, and narrow streets.
