The Grand Marché aux Puces d'Altkirch is undoubtedly one of the most important flea market events in the south of Haut-Rhin. Organized every year by the Lions Club Altkirch Sundgau, it brings together over 300 exhibitors in the vast Parking Leclerc, at 78 bis rue du 3e Zouaves. The 33rd edition will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, a date that ideally concludes the Alsatian spring in this part of the Sundgau. Individuals and professional dealers mingle to offer visitors a dense and varied selection: furniture, tableware, clothing, books, antique toys, trinkets, tools, vinyl records, and collectibles of all kinds.
Altkirch (68130) is the sub-prefecture of Haut-Rhin for the Sundgau district, with approximately 5,500 inhabitants. Perched on a hill overlooking the Ill valley, this town with a strong medieval character is the administrative and commercial heart of the Sundgau, this hilly and bocage region in southern Alsace. Its lively town center, its neo-Gothic Saint-Morand church, and its weekly market make it a vibrant and commercial town. The Leclerc parking lot, a stone's throw from the town center, offers a large area, ideal for hosting such an event.
With its over 300 exhibitors, the Grand Marché aux Puces d'Altkirch is one of the largest concentrations of sellers in the department at this time of year. You can find everything: antique furniture and trinkets, tableware and linens, clothing of all sizes, toys and board games, tools and gardening equipment, books and vinyl records, postcards and stamps, hi-fi and electronic equipment, decorative objects, and regional souvenirs. Experienced bargain hunters and curious strollers meet in this street sale atmosphere that makes for beautiful Sunday days in Alsace.
The Lions Club Altkirch Sundgau has been an active service club in the area for many years. True to the motto of Lions International — We Serve — the club uses the profits generated by the organization of the Grand Marché aux Puces to fund its local charitable activities: aid to people with disabilities, support for child welfare organizations, funding for medical equipment, or humanitarian projects in the region. Attending this event also means contributing to a worthy cause.
Entry is free for all visitors. Exhibitors pay a stall fee to reserve their spot. The day starts early in the morning for exhibitors and continues until late afternoon. Food and drinks are usually available on-site by the organizers. For any registration requests as an exhibitor, please contact the Lions Club Altkirch Sundgau directly, whose contact details are distributed locally each year as the event approaches.
