The commune of Pizay is a small village in the Plaine de l'Ain, located about 40 kilometers east of Lyon and 30 kilometers south of Bourg-en-Bresse. This rural town, crossed by the river Ain, retains an authentic character with its Bressan farmhouses and preserved architectural heritage. The setting is ideal for a day of outdoor bargain hunting.
The Grand Déballage takes place on the last Sunday of April, outdoors in the village. Entry is free for visitors. Refreshments and a dining area are provided by the organizers. Parking is free in the village streets.

From Lyon, take the A42 exit Villars-les-Dombes then follow signs for Pizay (approx. 45 minutes). From Bourg-en-Bresse, take the D1083 towards Lyon then turn off towards Pizay (approx. 30 minutes).
