The big summer gathering for treasure hunting in Maubec organized by La Protectrice
Every summer, the Hunting Society La Protectrice of Maubec organizes its big annual car boot sale. This festive and friendly event transforms the village of Maubec into a vast flea market where seasoned treasure hunters and Sunday strollers meet for a day of bargains under the Isère sun.
From 8 am to 5 pm, the aisles of the car boot sale come alive: crockery, trinkets, clothes, toys, books, small furniture, and garden tools are displayed on the exhibitors' stalls. The relaxed atmosphere of a country village adds to the charm of this day, ideal for a family outing. Children find their happiness among the toys and board games at low prices.
A local association well established in the life of Maubec, La Protectrice organizes this event to finance its activities and maintain village conviviality. The refreshment stand and light catering, run by the association's members, offer cold drinks and snacks throughout the day.
A rural commune in North-Isère located in the Bièvre plain, Maubec offers a rural and tranquil setting for this summer car boot sale. The village, easily accessible from Bourgoin-Jallieu and La Côte-Saint-André, benefits from a large population base which guarantees good attendance at the event.
