Major autumn car boot sale on the famous pedestrian street in Paris 14th
The grand Rue Daguerre car boot sale is one of the most anticipated autumn events in Paris. On this famous pedestrian shopping street in the 14th arrondissement, around 500 sellers set up for a weekend. Private, family and semi-pro sellers offer clothes, toys, books, dishes, vinyl and small furniture in a unique village atmosphere near Montparnasse and Denfert-Rochereau.
The Rue Daguerre car boot sale is held each year on the second weekend of October in the 14th arrondissement. The 2026 edition is set for 10 October, on one of Paris's liveliest pedestrian streets.
Rue Daguerre, pedestrianized since the 70s, is the soul of the Plaisance-Denfert district. Filmed by Agnès Varda in Daguerréotypes (1976), it has kept a rare village-in-Paris feel.
Mostly local residents, some semi-pros. Expect clothes, toys, books (plentiful, given the intellectual neighborhood), dishes, vinyl, DVDs, bibelots, bags, jewelry, posters, old postcards and small furniture.
Nearby: Place Denfert-Rochereau, the Catacombes, Montparnasse cemetery (Baudelaire, Sartre, Beauvoir, Gainsbourg), Parc Montsouris.
Arrive at 8am, bring a sturdy bag or small trolley, come by metro.
The grand Rue Daguerre car boot sale returns on the 2nd weekend of October 2026 in Paris 14th. 500 private and semi-pro sellers on this iconic pedestrian street. Village atmosphere, clothes, toys, books, vinyl. Free entry.
