Each spring, the Amicale des sapeurs-pompiers Albret Moisan organizes its grand car boot sale at the fronton of Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains. With over 120 exhibitors spread across the square, it is one of the largest car boot sales on the southern Landes coast, attracting treasure hunters from all along the coast from Mimizan to Bayonne, as well as from the Landes hinterland. The event has an excellent reputation that is confirmed edition after edition.

An event exclusively for individuals

This car boot sale is strictly reserved for individual exhibitors, ensuring an authentic and varied offering that is the highlight of this type of event. You can find absolutely everything: clothes for the whole family, second-hand toys, old and modern tableware, books of all genres, trinkets, small furniture, garden tools, sports equipment, and sometimes unusual items. Professionals are not accepted, which preserves the good-natured spirit of the event and ensures prices are truly accessible to all budgets.

The fronton, an emblematic location

The fronton of Vieux-Boucau, a traditional place for Basque pelota, offers a large and open space ideal for hosting this major event. Exhibitors set up as early as 6 am to carefully prepare their stalls before opening to the public at 8 am. The nearby parking facilitates access for both visitors and exhibitors laden with boxes. Toilets and a carousel for children complete the facilities provided.

The profits from this day help to finance the activities of the Amicale des sapeurs-pompiers Albret Moisan, which supports the firefighters of the rescue center and organizes cohesion events throughout the year. The on-site catering, provided by the members of the association, also contributes to fundraising.
