The Mega Car Boot Sale of Aubenas, a Sunday tradition since 2006

Every Sunday morning, the lot located behind the Bricomarché in ZAC du Moulon transforms into a vast open-air flea market. Launched in 2006 by Organisation Laurent, the Mega Car Boot Sale of Aubenas has become one of the most regular and popular flea market events in southern Ardèche, with between 100 and 200 exhibitors each week.

A market open to all, individuals and professionals

The Mega Car Boot Sale of Aubenas stands out by being open to both individuals looking to clear out their attics and professionals of flea markets and second-hand goods. A wide variety of merchandise can be found: clothing, shoes, toys, books, records, tableware, trinkets, furniture, tools, appliances, garden equipment, and many other items from all eras.

Organization and operation

No reservation is necessary to exhibit. Sellers can present themselves directly at the entrance near Bricomarché between 5:30 am and 7:30 am on the same morning. Pitch allocation is done on-site based on arrival order. The pitch fee is a flat rate depending on the vehicle type:

• Car (up to 6 m): €13
• Car with trailer or van (up to 8 m): €16

Entry is completely free for visitors. A refreshment stand is available on site for morning refreshments.

Aubenas, capital of southern Ardèche

Aubenas is a town of nearly 12,000 inhabitants, the district capital of Ardèche (department 07), nestled on a rocky promontory above the Ardèche valley. A natural commercial hub for Southern Ardèche, it attracts numerous visitors each week from Largentière, Vals-les-Bains, Privas, Montélimar, and surrounding villages for this Sunday event. The ZAC du Moulon, where the market is held, is the town's main commercial zone, easily accessible via Route Nationale 102.

A regular event, all year round

The Mega Car Boot Sale of Aubenas takes place every Sunday of the year, including during school holidays, with higher attendance in the summer during the tourist season. In case of exceptional bad weather, exhibitors are informed via the event's Facebook page. This weekly format, rare in Ardèche, makes it a unique meeting point for bargain hunters and enthusiasts in the area.
