The traditional flea market in the town hall park, by the Marne river
Every last Sunday of June, Gournay-sur-Marne gathers its residents and second-hand enthusiasts for its annual flea market. The event takes place in the Town Hall Park, on Avenue du Maréchal Foch, just a short walk from the banks of the Marne. Organized directly by the municipality, this event has become one of the commune's most awaited occasions.
Gournay's flea market is exclusively open to private exhibitors — no professional dealers are admitted. This gives it a unique charm: genuine household objects, family mementos, well-read books, much-loved toys. Visitors know they are delving into the intimate history of Gournay's residents, with unpredictable discoveries and often very affordable prices.
The flea market is held on the last Sunday of June, 8am to 6pm. Vendor registrations typically open in April (contact the town hall for details). No on-the-day registration is accepted. Free entry for visitors. Food trucks on site all day. Contact: +33 1 43 05 06 41.
