Belin-Béliet (33830), a commune in the Haute Lande girondine located at the crossroads of the Bordeaux-Bayonne and Bordeaux-Arcachon routes, hosts its giant car boot sale every March. With significant attendance and a considerable number of exhibitors, this event has become one of the largest car boot sales in South Gironde, attracting bargain hunters from all over the region.
The adjective "giant" is not misplaced: the Belin-Béliet car boot sale occupies vast communal spaces and brings together hundreds of private exhibitors. You can find absolutely everything: clothes, toys, books, dishes, furniture, appliances, garden tools, bicycles, sports equipment, vinyl records, trinkets, and curiosities. The extended format allows for a whole morning of bargain hunting, with the guarantee of finding treasures at low prices.
Belin-Béliet, a commune of about 5,500 inhabitants born from the merger of Belin and Béliet, is a historic crossroads of the Haute Lande. It is considered the birthplace of Aliénor d'Aquitaine, and the Romanesque church of Belin bears witness to this rich past. The commune, crossed by the Leyre river, is also a gateway to the Regional Natural Park of the Landes de Gascogne. The giant car boot sale reflects the dynamism of this commune at the crossroads.
The giant car boot sale of Belin-Béliet returns in March 2026. Free entry, refreshments and catering.
