A solidarity car boot sale against cancer

The GEEC car boot sale is held annually on the Esplanade Marcel Pradel in Balaruc-le-Vieux (34540), from 8 am to 1:30 pm. Organized by the Groupe Écoute Cancer, an association supporting people affected by cancer and their loved ones, this solidarity event brings together individuals offering clothes, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, and various items. All profits are donated to the listening, support, and accompaniment activities carried out by the association for patients in the Thau basin.

Balaruc-le-Vieux, a village perched on the Thau lagoon

Perched on a hill overlooking the Thau lagoon, Balaruc-le-Vieux is a fortified medieval village offering exceptional panoramas of the Thau basin, Sète, and Mont Saint-Clair. GEEC, listening and solidarity

The GEEC (Groupe Écoute Cancer) is a local association working daily to break the isolation of people facing cancer. Through its listening sessions, support groups, and well-being activities, the association provides valuable support to patients and their families.
