Held on 15 August, this garage sale brings together private sellers and bargain hunters at the foot of Mont Beuvray for a convivial day of great finds.
Saint-Léger-sous-Beuvray is a commune at the foot of Mont Beuvray, at the south-western tip of the Morvan, in Saône-et-Loire. Mont Beuvray, a historic summit of 821 metres, is the site of the ancient Gaulish city of Bibracte, capital of the Aedui tribe. This village, in the heart of preserved nature and rich archaeological heritage, hosts this annual garage sale that attracts residents and passing tourists each summer.
The garage sale takes place on 15 August, a public holiday, at the height of the summer season. The exceptional natural setting of Saint-Léger-sous-Beuvray, at the gateway to the Morvan Regional Natural Park, adds extra appeal to the event. Entry is free for visitors.
