Grand flea market and handmade festival in the streets of the village of Remigny
Every second Sunday of September, the village of Remigny comes alive to host its Foire de la Saint-Martin, an event that has become a must in the calendar of flea markets in the Aisne region. Organized by the Comité des fêtes de Remigny, this event brings together more than 300 exhibitors, both private individuals and professionals, in the streets of the village.
The Foire de la Saint-Martin stands out for the diversity of its program. Beyond the traditional flea market where you can find antique furniture, crockery, trinkets and collectibles, the event offers a handmade festival bringing together local artisans and creators, as well as a trade fair showcasing the region's know-how. Families can enjoy the many activities: vintage car exhibition, inflatable structures, karting for children and a free raffle.
Remigny is a rural commune located in the Vermandois, between Saint-Quentin and Bohain-en-Vermandois. This agricultural area in the north of the Aisne, marked by the history of the Great War, retains a spirit of solidarity and conviviality that is fully expressed during this annual fair. Visitors appreciate the rural setting and the warm atmosphere of this village event.
Admission is free for visitors. Exhibitors can register at a rate of €5 for 5 meters. Set-up is possible from 6 am and the event is open to the public from 8 am to 6 pm. Refreshments and catering are provided on site by the Comité des fêtes.
