R'Biolle fair with flea market in Arenthon at the foot of the Bornes plateau
Arenthon celebrates its traditional R'Biolle Fair, a village festival rooted in Faucigny traditions, accompanied by a large flea market. This popular event brings together travelling merchants, local producers and private sellers in the village center. The R'Biolle, from the Savoyard dialect meaning renewal festival, marks the arrival of fine weather at the foot of the Bornes plateau, between Bonneville and La Roche-sur-Foron.
On May 10, 2026, Arenthon hosts its traditional R'Biolle Fair, accompanied by a large flea market. This festive event, deeply rooted in Faucigny traditions, celebrates spring renewal in a joyful and popular atmosphere.
The name R'Biolle comes from the Savoyard dialect and evokes rebirth and renewal. This fair is the heir to the great rural fairs that punctuated village life in the Faucigny.
The fair features two complementary aspects: travelling merchants and local producers with their cheeses, honeys and Savoyard crafts; and private sellers with clothing, toys, books and everyday items.
Arenthon is a charming village between Bonneville and La Roche-sur-Foron, at the foot of the Bornes plateau, with views of the Môle and Mont-Blanc.
