The Clermont-l'Hérault Fair, known as « Foire aux Touailles », is the town's large spring commercial fair and flea market (Hérault, 34). Every year in May, the town center welcomes individuals and professionals for a day of treasure hunting, good deals, and festive entertainment.
The Foire aux Touailles of Clermont-l'Hérault
Organized by the association Clermont A Plein Cœur in partnership with the City of Clermont-l'Hérault, the Foire aux Touailles is an unmissable event of the Hérault spring. The term « touaille », from the local dialect, originally referred to an all-purpose cloth, and by extension, any object one wishes to get rid of.
From 9 AM to 7 PM, the streets and boulevards of the town center transform into a vast garage sale and flea market: antique objects, furniture, crockery, books, clothes, and curiosities stand alongside professional flea market stalls. The atmosphere is festive and friendly, enlivened by live music, DJs, entertainment, and food stalls.
The 52nd edition was held on May 2 and 3, 2025, the 53rd in May 2026. This fair is traditionally organized in the spring (May).

The 53rd edition of the Foire aux Touailles was held in spring 2026 in the city center of Clermont-l'Hérault (streets and boulevards in the heart of the city), from 9 AM to 7 PM. Organized by the association Clermont A Plein Cœur in partnership with the City, it is one of the major events of the year in the commune.
The word “touaille” refers, in local dialect, to an all-purpose cloth — and by extension, any object one wishes to get rid of. The fair has thus become a huge garage sale and flea market where one can find old, unusual, and useful objects, in a festive atmosphere punctuated by live music, DJs, entertainment, and food stalls.
Please note: this fair is a spring (May) event. The 52nd edition was held on May 2 and 3, 2025; the 53rd edition took place in May 2026. No event is organized in July.
