The traditional flea market organized by the Henvic-Starcross Twinning Committee, with the British touch of English friends
Every year in September, the town of Henvic (29670) hosts its traditional Flea Market, organized by the Henvic-Starcross Twinning Committee. This event, now in its 23rd year, is held at the Salle Marie-Jacq, rue de Croas Men, and attracts exhibitors and visitors from all over Léon and northern Finistère.
The event is open from 9 am to 6 pm and welcomes both individuals looking to clear out their attics and professionals offering antiques and second-hand goods. The diversity of stalls guarantees a varied offering: furniture, tableware, clothing, books, toys, trinkets, and collectibles of all kinds.
What undoubtedly sets the Henvic Flea Market apart from others in the department is the presence of stalls run by English friends from the twin town of Starcross in Devon. These exhibitors from across the Channel bring with them typically British items: English tableware, decorative objects, jams, and Cornish pasties. A warm and friendly atmosphere that reflects the long Franco-British friendship woven between the two towns.
To accompany the day, organizers offer crêpes, drinks, and light refreshments on site. This convivial catering offering helps make the Henvic Flea Market more than just a simple flea market: it's a true village festival, a moment of meeting and exchange between residents, exhibitors, and visitors.
The event takes place in and around the Salle Marie-Jacq, rue de Croas Men, in the heart of the village of Henvic, about ten kilometers east of Morlaix. The 2025 date was set for Sunday, September 14, from 9 am to 6 pm.
