Large car boot sale at Parc de l'Édit in Courseulles-sur-Mer, seaside resort of Juno Beach
The Parc de l'Édit in Courseulles-sur-Mer hosts a dynamic car boot sale each year, organized by the Courseulles Handball Club. Since its inception, this event has continued to grow and will celebrate its 16th edition in 2026, proving its established place in the flea market scene of Calvados.
Parc de l'Édit, located at 13 rue des Goélands, offers a green and spacious setting to welcome exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors' vehicles can be parked directly behind their pitches, facilitating setup and unloading. From 6 am to 6 pm, treasure hunters browse the aisles in search of furniture, tableware, toys, books, clothing, and collectible items.
Courseulles-sur-Mer is a family-friendly seaside resort on the Côte de Nacre, famous for its Juno Beach where Canadian troops landed on June 6, 1944. The town also has a lively fishing and pleasure boat harbor, a renowned fish market, and the Juno Beach Centre, a Canadian memorial to the D-Day landings. The car boot sale benefits from this attractive setting, especially during the Easter weekend when visitor numbers are particularly high.
The proceeds from the car boot sale support the activities of the Courseulles Handball Club, a local sports club. Registration is done online via the HelloAsso platform, allowing for simple and quick pitch management. Food and drinks are available on site throughout the day.
