Annual "Foire à Tout" on May 8th organized by the "Comité des fêtes", route du Marais in Rubercy
Every May 8th, Victory holiday, the small town of Rubercy hosts its traditional "foire à tout". Organized by the Comité des fêtes de Rubercy, this event brings together private sellers and bargain hunters on the La Closière site, at 1870 route du Marais.
Rubercy is a typical village in Bessin, this hedged area of Calvados located between Bayeux and Isigny-sur-Mer. The "foire à tout" takes place in a green environment, a few kilometers from the D-Day beaches and the famous town of Trévières. The bucolic setting of the route du Marais offers a generous space for outdoor unpacking.
The Comité des fêtes offers on-site catering, with a refreshment stand and a méchoui (lamb roasted on a spit) available by reservation. This festive specialty contributes to the friendly atmosphere of the day and allows visitors and exhibitors to eat pleasantly.
The fair is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free for visitors. Private sellers can set up freely. It's the ideal opportunity to enjoy the public holiday to hunt for treasures in Normandy, between the countryside and the coast.
From Bayeux, take the D5 towards Trévières then follow the direction Rubercy (approx. 20 minutes). From Isigny-sur-Mer, take the D5 towards the east (approx. 10 minutes).
Free parking on site, route du Marais.
