Each July, the village of Piencourt hosts its annual car boot sale in the Pays d'Auge, a quintessential Norman region. Piencourt is a commune in the Eure department located in the Pays d'Auge, a Norman region renowned for its cheeses (Camembert, Livarot, Pont-l'Évêque), ciders, and calvados. The Auge hedgerow countryside, with its pastures bordered by living hedges, apple orchards, and timber-framed manor farms, constitutes one of Normandy's most picturesque landscapes.
