Annual fair in the village of Lignerolles, bocage of Pays d'Ouche, Eure
Every year in June, the small village of Lignerolles hosts its fair in the tradition of the rural events of the Pays d'Ouche. This area in the south of Eure, with its hedged hills and deep forests, offers an authentic setting for this day of unpacking where the villagers and those from neighboring towns offer their items at affordable prices.
Lignerolles is a small rural commune in the Pays d'Ouche, on the borders of Eure and Orne. This Norman bocage with its green meadows, ancient hedges, and game-filled forests is one of the most authentic regions of Normandy. Villages like Lignerolles embody preserved rurality, far from tourist routes, and their fairs have the authenticity of grassroots events.
The Foire à tout de Lignerolles brings together private sellers offering crockery, furniture, clothing, tools, toys, and trinkets of all kinds. In this type of rural event, bargains are plentiful and prices are modest. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and family-oriented, in the purest Norman tradition.
From L'Aigle (27300), take the D926 in a north-westerly direction towards Rugles, then join Lignerolles. From Bernay, take the D833 south towards Pays d'Ouche.
Free parking in the village.
