Annual Foire à tout in Flipou, village of the Andelle valley, Eure
Each early July, the village of Flipou comes alive to the rhythm of its annual Foire à tout. In this Norman town in the Eure, nestled by the Andelle river, private sellers and bargain hunters meet for a day of summer unpacking in a green natural setting. The event attracts the inhabitants of the valley and holiday visitors to the region.
Flipou is a village in the Eure located in the Vallée de l'Andelle, this Norman river that flows between the Vexin normand plateau and the Lyons forest before joining the Seine at Pont-Saint-Pierre. This green valley, with its shaded banks and humid meadows, is one of the most beautiful in Haute-Normandie. The villages along it, like Flipou, have retained an authentic rural character much appreciated by walkers and bargain hunters.
The Foire à tout de Flipou brings together private sellers and visitors in a relaxed summer atmosphere. The stalls offer tableware, furniture, adult and children's clothing, books, toys, and various objects. The coolness provided by the proximity of the Andelle makes the stroll particularly pleasant in the middle of the Norman summer.
From Rouen, take the D321 east towards Fleury-sur-Andelle, then join Flipou via the D7 along the Andelle (about 30 minutes). From Les Andelys, take the D316 west to the Andelle valley.
Free parking in the village.
