A fair at the gymnasium

The Foire à Tout de Fontenay-le-Marmion takes place every year at the town's gymnasium and on Rue des Écoles. The dual indoor and outdoor configuration allows exhibitors to be accommodated regardless of weather conditions, offering bargain hunters a varied route between the covered stands in the gymnasium and the open-air stalls.

ESIVO, the historic organizer

The event is organized by ESIVO, a football club founded in 1922 in May-sur-Orne, which merged in 2022 with the neighboring towns of Saint-Martin-de-Fontenay and Fontenay-le-Marmion. The club's volunteers ensure reception, catering, and refreshments, with proceeds contributing to the financing of the association's sports activities.

100 to 200 exhibitors

The fair hosts between 100 and 200 exhibitors, mixing flea market professionals and individuals. A wide range of items can be found: furniture, dishes, clothing, books, toys, garden tools, and decorative objects. The atmosphere is that of an authentic Norman fair, where the pleasure of discovery mixes with conviviality.

Fontenay-le-Marmion, a town south of Caen

Fontenay-le-Marmion is a commune in the Caen plain, located about 12 km south of the prefecture of Calvados. The village, marked by the fighting of the Battle of Normandy in 1944, is today a pleasant residential place, at the gateway to the Norman countryside.
