For over three decades, the Football Club Boulon Laurentais Laize-Clinchamps (FCB2LC) has organized an annual car boot sale that has become a must-attend event for bargain hunters in the Orne valley. With its 31st edition, this event has retained a large audience, from seasoned collectors to families looking for good deals.

Laize-Clinchamps, between Orne and countryside

Laize-Clinchamps is a commune in Calvados located about fifteen kilometers south of Caen, in the Orne valley. Formed by the union of Laize-la-Ville and Clinchamps-sur-Orne, the commune offers a green and hilly setting typical of the Norman countryside. The village hall of Clinchamps-sur-Orne, rue Léonard Gille, is the central point of the event, with stalls extending into the adjacent streets.

A mixed indoor-outdoor format

The car boot sale offers approximately 120 pitches spread between the indoor village hall and outdoor spaces. The exhibitor fee is €3.50 per linear meter outdoors (with a minimum of 5 meters if the vehicle remains on site) and €4.50 per meter indoors. This mixed format allows the event to take place regardless of weather conditions.

Conviviality and sports solidarity

The proceeds from the car boot sale are donated to the Football Club Boulon Laurentais to fund local sports activities. Food and drinks on-site are provided by the club's volunteers. The site has restrooms and disabled access. Booking is mandatory for exhibitors.
