Summer car boot sale in Caumont-Normandie, a rural commune between Bourg-Achard and Bourgtheroude
Every end of summer, the commune of Caumont-Normandie organizes its annual Foire à tout. This popular event is part of the Norman tradition of end-of-season village fairs, bringing together locals and visitors for a day of treasure hunting and conviviality in the countryside.
Caumont-Normandie is a commune in the Roumois region, this Norman agricultural plateau that extends between the loop of the Seine and the Risle valley. Located about ten kilometers from Bourg-Achard and Grand Bourgtheroulde, this typical village of rural Haute-Normandie offers an authentic setting for its annual Foire à tout. Apple trees, pastures, and half-timbered houses form the rural backdrop of this summer event.
The Foire à tout of Caumont-Normandie allows residents of the village and surrounding communes to clear out their attics and lighten their lofts before autumn. Furniture, dishes, clothes, toys, tools, and various knick-knacks are offered to visitors for this unpacking day. The rural and friendly atmosphere that characterizes Norman village fairs is fully present.
The Foire à tout takes place at the end of August in Caumont-Normandie. Free admission. For information, contact the commune or the organizing association.
