Grand summer car boot sale in Brionne, medieval town in the Risle valley in Eure
In the heart of summer, Brionne hosts its grand July foire à tout. The medieval town in the Risle valley transforms for a day into a vast open-air flea market, where private sellers and professional dealers mingle in a friendly summer atmosphere.
The Risle valley is a popular summer tourist destination for its authentic Norman landscapes, picturesque villages, and natural and architectural heritage. Brionne, with its 11th-century medieval keep overlooking the plain, is one of the highlights of this valley. The July foire à tout benefits from the influx of tourists and holidaymakers to attract a wider audience beyond local residents.
The July foire à tout is renowned for the diversity and quality of the items offered. Exhibitors take advantage of the spring clear-outs to select and present their best pieces: antique Norman furniture, Rouen faience and regional ceramics, nautical objects (compasses, lamps, maps), vintage clothing and accessories, old books, collectible toys, silverware, and costume jewelry. The abundance of offerings guarantees that every visitor leaves with a find.
Brionne's central square, lined with half-timbered Norman houses and dominated by the Saint-Martin church, offers a picturesque and authentic setting for the summer foire à tout. Stalls are set up in the square and adjacent streets, creating a treasure-hunting route that invites strolls through the historic town center.
The Brionne Flea Market returns on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in the city center of this medieval town in the Risle Valley (Eure). Coupled with the merchants' clearance sale, this large summer flea market brings together approximately 200 exhibitors and delights bargain hunters looking for antiques, vintage items, clothes, toys, and all kinds of bric-a-brac.
Organized by the Brionne Festival Committee in partnership with the merchants' association (ABCD), the July flea market takes place in the city center of Brionne, from 8 AM to 6 PM. Entry is free for visitors.
For individual exhibitors, the pitch is charged at 3 € per linear meter (price increased to 4 € per meter after July 14). Refreshments and catering on site. This summer flea market, organized every year in July, is one of the major events for bargain hunters in the Risle Valley.
