Spring car boot sale in the village of Boissey-le-Châtel, Charentonne valley
Every spring, the village of Boissey-le-Châtel in the Eure department hosts its Foire à tout. This event brings together private sellers wishing to clear out their attics and cellars, as well as some amateur flea market vendors, who offer a wide variety of items on their stalls: furniture, tableware, clothing, books, toys, tools, and trinkets of all kinds.
Boissey-le-Châtel is located in the Charentonne Valley, a Norman river with lively waters that winds through a landscape of meadows and orchards. This area, between the towns of Bernay and Brionne, offers a remarkable natural setting, typical of the Haut-Normandie bocage with its hedgerows, apple trees, and old half-timbered farmhouses.
The village car boot sales in the Eure department are cherished moments of local life for residents and visitors alike. They offer an opportunity to meet, chat, and find bargains in a relaxed atmosphere. The Foire à tout of Boissey-le-Châtel is part of this Norman tradition and attracts bargain hunters from the areas around Bernay, Brionne, and Bourgtheroulde.
